The program you will need to uncar your .car files is named SAPCAR.

It should already be installed; if not, search for 'SAPCAR' at SDN or service.sap.com/notes.

hope this helps

Hi,

copy support package in on folder name patch on sap application server.

copy sapcar.exe from your sap kernel folder to system32 folder.

now on sap server start -> run -> cmd which opens the command prompt.

now change the directory to patch directory i.e c:\cd patch

now execute sapcar -xvf filename.sar

copy the extracted content into /usr/sap/trans/eps/in directory

now login into sap system client 000

execute spam -> support package -> load packages from application server.

if you want to load it from sap gui then

execute spam -> support package -> load packages -> from front end -> give the path for support package file.
