batch as mandatory filed in vl01n

I would like put batch as mandatory filed in vl01n means with out entering batch in vl01n system should not allow user save the document. In vl01n user enter pick quantity and save the document. After some time user use t-code vl02n enter batch and do the PGI. They want enter in vl01n level with out entering batch system should not save the document.

Are they any exit or STD is it possible? Please let me know in case any quires.

It can be done though incompletion procedure. If you are using standard delivery item category TAN, then the IC procedure is L1.

Go to this IC procedure for Delivery item and insert the following as a new entry:

table: LIPS

Field: CHARG

Scr. CHSP:

Status: D1.

and SAVE

Now you cannot save w/o batch number.

Incompletion log procedrue will server your requirement. Please determine the incompletion log procedure with Batch as one of the mandatory field then activate error message as reaction and then assign that procedure to deliery document header and item level...

But u should know incomplete log determination condition technique..
