Dear SDN ,
We are planning to implement SAP ECC HA solution .
I need your openion on :
1 ) Can I use the High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing ( HACMP ) on non AIX systems ? for eg : we have Suse 10 with SP 1
2) I understood that in Distributed system as well in High Availability system NFS must install (use). I.e. /sapmnt/SID & /sap/ust/trans should be on NFS.
3) To achieve High Availability the file system /sapmnt/SID should be export to NFS - > if required.
4) Unfortunately the IBM HACMP does not support NFS for Suse Linux.
My concern is can I go ahead with HACMP without using NFS? (HACMP will take care for HA Solution)
Still I can achieve the rest part like Distributed Systems my application servers are reside on separate host?
Regards,
Santosh
