Not able to Load data of Qualified tables, through Import Manager

Former Member

Hi,

We are using SP5 version of MDM, and trying to import data for Qualified tables through Exl But we are getting error "Map values for qualfiers values" though we had mapped all fields and values.

Is there any specific format of exl that need to be consider.

Architecture we are using:

Main table-> Sales data linked to Qualified table.

We are importing Sales data in import manager , selecting Source (exl file) and destination (Main table).Mapping source valued with (Q)destination values.

Please let us know, if we are doing something wrong with the process or file need to be modify or any setting need to be check.

Solution will be rewarded

Regards

Sandeep Kumar

Hi Sandeep,

There will be one lookup field left in the destination which will be still unmapped and there will be no corresponding field left in the source to map it with. For this, go to source field tab and right click to create compound field.

But remember that if any one of the non-qualifier fields of the qualified lookup table is not yet mapped, you will not be allowed to create the compound field.

Hope it will help you.

Hi Sandeep,

First import the data into qualified table by mapping non-qualifier fields , next import

the data into main table by mapping main table fields, qualifier fields of qualifier table

and do map the non-qualifier display field.

Note: If your repository contains more than one non-qualifier display field, you need

to Create a compound field by right clicking on source side mapping. As soon

as compound field is created,it automatically mapped to the destination lookup

field. You need to map all individual display fields before creating compound

field.

Thanks

Hi Sandeep,

It seems you might have missed few Value Mapping of Qualifiers thats why you are getting this error.

Below are the steps to be followed for mapping file to qualified table:

1. Map the Non-Qualifier field first. If this field is lookup then map its values also.

2. Map qualifiers and similarly if the qualifier is lookup, map its values.

3. Set the properties in the configurations accordingly for qualified tables.

4. Select the proper import action and execute the import.

In your case please check the value mapping for each and every qualifier field.
