kannan,

the problem is the mail server, you're connecte to. Either it denies sending emails out of your intranet, or your email is wrong spelled (there's no "." in the domain, maybe it's a typo)

ask the guys that administrate the mail server.

Please use tx-code scot and check your address area settings on your e-mail node.

Maybe your mail server does not support ESMTP, at Table

sxnodes, for your SMTP node, umark field ESMTP, and test back.

how to change the ESMTP settings.

at Table "sxnodes", for your SMTP node, umark field ESMTP, and test back

you can edit this table via se16

You need to add the IP Address of your SAP System to the "Relay Agent" in Exchange... SMTP will not send the mail outside the domain if the relay is not configured.

hi,

follow this steps :

- transaction SCOT

- under the tree of your <SID> there is subtree named INT and subtree SMTP

- double click on SMTP

- give description, eg Routing to Exchange Mail Server

- define Max. waiting time for repeat send attempt procedure

- check the checkbox "node in use"

- define your mail server IP on mail host field

- define your mail server port on mail port field

- on section supported address type, hit button SET beside Internet

- on address area, submit your address area that is usually your mail domain. give an asterisk, eg *yourdomain.com

from SM37 or SM36

- browse all jobs that runs ABAP Program Name : RSCONN01

- if no job available, create one using SM36

- schedule this jobs to run every 5 minutes, with SAP standard variant SAP&CONNECTINT

monitor your mail using SCOT

- utilities

- overview send request

hope it help you

Hi Kannan,

Have you configured mail server relay?

Check that with ur basis.

Reward points if it's helpful.
