Hi,
In EP, an iView is the most basic portal content to carry information. In the most simple terms, an iView is a program that retreives data from content sources and displays it in the content area of our portal.
Different iView templates are available from which you can select according to your requirement.
These iviews are then assigned to Pages. A page can contain more than 1 iview.
In MDM, there comes many iview templates with the MDM Business Package. Ex: Item Details iVew, Result Set iView and many Search iViews. Each iVew has its own functionality and is used separately.
We can also customise the already existing iViews according to our need.
Regards,
Becky.
