Dear friends,

I cannot start J2EE via SAP Management Console, the status of JCONTROL.EXE is stopped. When I go to see the "dev_jcontrol", it's return with exit code = 66 as the following log. Please advise.

Thanks in advances,

Sam

Guys,

I installed sneak preview java full version and everything was working fine. On the same instance (not sure what it means, I just followed the instructions) I installed ABAP. I am able to log into ABAP.

In MMC, I am unable to bring up the J2EE engine.

I did a manual shutdown of ABAP instance. Not sure wheather that shutdown the db.

I an new to Netwaver and WAS. Just trying out different things.

Thank you all for your advice.

I am having the same problem after installing ABAP on SP15 Java full version.

I am unable to find any hints from the reference docs. Could you please tell me how to debug or resolve this issue?

Dear Lokesh,

Did you go to change any password in "Secure Store" of config_tools.bat?

For my case, the cause of problem is I had go to change the password of Key: jdbc/pool/xxx/Password in the "Secure Store". So when I go to change it to the previous password, it's OK now!!!

Please check this point first.

Actually, there is an option called Re - Encrypt secure store. Everytime we change teh password , we have rencrypt the secure store to make these new passwords active.

Hi Bharathwaj

I have this exact problem. Basis has changed the password but did not re-encrypt the secure store. Through some research I see this is the process i need to follow, please confirm??:

<i>Update the user name and password of the new administrator user for the Connection Factories of the JMS Server Instances that use authentication with the administrator user.

a. Using Visual Administrator, choose the JMS Provider service of the J2EE Engine.

b. From the Runtime tab page, choose an entry from the list of JMS Server Instances.

c. Open the Connection Factories tab page for that entry.

d. Update the user name and password for the new administrator user in each of the Connection Factories that use the administrator user for authentication.

e. Repeat the steps above for all JMS Server Instances with Connection Factories using the default administrator user for authentication.</i>

My only problem is that I cannot log on to Visual Administrator to implement the above steps. How can i get around this?

Any help is very much appreciated!!!

Thank you!!!

I have the same problem. How do you change this password to the previous? I can't opening the configtool because probably it's using the same password encrypted.

I can opening directly the database by the "console root" there is a user control that I have the password, with this user I changed the password to the same that in the configtool but it doesn't work.
