Native Submit button not trigerring the onSubmit event

Former Member

Hello,

I'm trying to create a native interactive form. I set the form's DisplayType to Native, and put the Submit button from the WebDynproNative library. The form's pdfSource property is set to a binary context attribute, and the onSubmit event is related to an event. And when clicking on the Submit button, nothing happens.

I used ActiveX on the last forms I did, and it worked.

I'm using Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and LiveCycle Designer 8.0.

How can I make it work?

Thanks.

Hi Udi,

I also face same issue. In my case standard button worked, so pleae try adding a button from Standard Controls tab.

Hi Arafat,

Thanks for your answer.

What do you mean adding a button from the Standard Controls tab? There's no Submit button in there.

Did you mean I should add a script to it? Or setting it's type to Submit?

Hi Udi,

I mean to say that please add a standard button and put the submit script there. Hopefully it will work.

Thanks again for your answer, but it doesn't work.

I searched a bit about it earlier, and found this -

The last message says he solved it, but I didn't really understand how. If you can please have a look at it, maybe it would help us both.
