Is there any process to capture secondary sales in SAP ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I hope this term is used in FMCG right primary sales means sales directly from company to distributor and secondary means distributor to end customer. if this is the case as far as my knowledge secondary sale cannot map in SAP. but i want to know the reason why we have to map.

hi
this can be case of a scrap sale
where there is a wastage after you manufacture a product..
you want to sell that scrap..
you can create a new material as a scrap..
and continue with the normal sales process...
but here you will have a seperate pricing procedure..
even though we can have all the pricing procedures in a single procedure..
its prefereable if you have a seperate pricing procedure for scrap sale
all the best

Hi..
As per my knowledge Primary sales is the sales from Company to Distributor, Secondary means Distributor to retailer and tertiary means Distributor to enduser.
In SAP, our customer is a distributor. So we can map only the primary sales. So i dont think we can map secondary or tertiary sales.

hi friend,
As far as my knowledge,
if the company has its own sales outlets,
the materials with any defects which cannot be visible for common eye those materials are treated as secondary sale materials,
in this case the materials from the company outlets are sold to consumers,
which the materials are sold at a special price(lesser than its original selling price) then this is mapped into SAP with special pricing procedure.
Dear sagar
Do you mean scrap sales ?? If so, yes we can capture these sales in SAP for which you need to have different pricing procedure.
thanks
