hi everybody

can anybody say, can we able to delete a material that we had created already? if so plz let me know the process.

Dear ramesh

Through MM06, you can mark the material for Deletion which means, you cannot generate invoice but it will be in SAP.

Material is "Flaged for deletion" using MM06. But it is not "deleted" from the system, as the proccess can be reversed.

Hi Ramesh

We can flag a material for deletion , so that the material is as good as deleted

the transaction code MM06 - Immediatley or MM16 -Schedule

can be used to block material. the material can be blocked at the below mentioned levels

Plant

Stor. Location

Valuation Type

Sales Org.

Distr. Channel

Warehouse No.

Storage Type

if u want to completely delete , then you can archive the materials

Warehouse No.

Storage Type

Then run and save the transaction
