Inbound Idoc error

Former Member

Hey,

trying to send IDOCs from XI to SAP system.

In Message Mapping I disabled the ED40 segment, because XI is filling this

automatically. Is this correct?

In sxmb_moni got following error:

<SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_RUNTIME</SAP:Code>

<SAP:P1>DB Tab RFCDES: Could not determine code page with NR3CLNT100</SAP:P1>

Sap note 747322 doesn't help.

I didn't create an partner profile in XI system. Is this necessary?

Any ideas?

thx

chris

Hi Chris,

Need to maintain the partner profile and the message type configured in the R/3 side for the IDoc.Check the Idoc metadata and the port being maintained in the XI using IDX1,IDX2 transaction.

While rechecking everything, I found an error in communication channel (receiver idoc).

Instead of SAPCLNT001 I wrote SAPCLNT100. Little mistake great consequences.

thanks for helping me.

Hi,

do not need patner profiles in xi system.create port using idx1 and set the RFC destination using sm59 to sap system.

No need distribution model view.

Destination in sm59 (type 3) works fine.

idx1: port is created with link to destination

also logical system in bd54 is created and metadate are (re-)loaded in idx2.

any other hints?

thx

Hi,

Check with the RFC Destination which you are using in the Idoc Receiver Communication channel,

And also Port which is having the correct RFC Destination or not.

Check in SM59 of XI for RFC Destination, whether it is fine or not

Not required
