Purchase Indent Approval

Hi all,

We have Categorised Inventory Groups in to two. ie., Group A & Group B.

Purchase Indent of Goup A Items must go to Approval for Manager and Purchase Indent of Group B Items must go to Asst Manager.

Is this Possible ???????????????????

If So How?

I Dont Understand How to Give Purchase Indent approval to two people. that too some indents must go to Manager and some to Asst Manager.

You can use purchase order as purchase indent

As a workaround

You can use purchase order as purchase indent

meaning that when user send purchase order for

approval to assistant manager/manager purchase order

is in draft mode until approval it act like a purchase indent,

based on decision pending/rejected/cancelled.

If it is approved then user-orginator can add

it to create purchase order.

Hi Dasari,

I am not sure if you mean Purchase Indent or Purchase ordere.

Howevr for a document there can be 2 levels of approval procedures. In the Approval stages you need to define to users who will have to authorize...in your case he is the manager and the assistant manager.

In the Approval Template the Originator who be the creator of the document.Choose the document for which the app procedure should be there and in the approval stages enter both the stages that you have defined and then choose the terms.

There will be approval asked 2 times for the same documen one to the manager and the other to the asst manager

Iam Speaking regarding Purchase Indent only.

For example: if there is an Indent Raised for Spare parts, this indent must go to manager for approval.

If there is an indent raised for Ware Parts, this indent must go to asst manager for approval.

Both indents are raised from same user Id.
