Quality Management - Work Load planning & scheduling

Dear All

We are looking for a solution wherein we can plan for the QM workload based on inputs from MRP and then do a detailed scheduling based on the firmed production plan.

My understanding is that this functionality is not available in ECC 6.0. Is that correct?

Is there any third party tool which will cater to this requirement? Any of you have any experience in catering to this requirement?

Hi,

Use work center usage 009 ( all task list) then try to assign it to operation in master recipe.

Are you sure, we can assign work center in receipe because i couldn't find the work center in recipe in operation/ operation details ...

Hi,

QM work center will be created same as production work center using transaction CR01 transaction. Activatge finite scheduling indicator while creating work center.

QM work center will be assigned to master recipe in same way as production work center, while choosing make sure the capacity planning indicator is ticked .

Hi,

Standard QM module does not provide workload planning for QM work center . You need to write a custom program to do a workload planning. Other option is you assign QM work center to routing or master recipe , work center will be loaded when production order is released .

Hi Sami,

Set the USAGE of the Work Center decides it's attachment should allowed to which task lists. So set it according to the requirement.
