workprocess goes in hold

Hello Forum,

I am running a job in background. i have to releas it from SM37.

Sometimes, when a brarchive start parallel, the workprocess of this job goes to status hold and does nothing more. The Error

occurs always at the same time- when brarchive running. Otherwise the Interfacejob runs without errors (several times a day).

You have an explanation for this?

you can reserve your background jobs to run with Job priority A always, after this your Job may not go in hold status when brarchive is running.

Did you look into the work process trace? is there any error messages? In SM50, double click it, what does it say it's doing?

Are all of your work processes busy? Are there at least 1 available of each type (BTC, DIA, UPD, UP2)?
