working time

please explain me the concept of working time and that is of the shift sequence

if possible the quote an example

Dear rahul,

Shift timining generally followed are

A : 6 AM TO 2 PM

B : 2 PM TO 10 PM

C : 10 PM TO 6 AM

One releiver will releave the shift officer for 3 days and come in general shift for 3 days . or this releiver can be assigned for another 3 as releiver , sothat 7 persons can handle 2 profile for one week.

If explain the purpose and how it is related to SAP , it would be better to explain further .

if u look at the details of the shipping point then u can find the field as working time so that is why i am asking this question to you

now please explain to me working time in releation with the
