Dear Achim,

As per your valuable suggestion in configtool ->service-> com.sap.security.core.ume.service.

tha parameters below both default and costom filds shows blank

ume.r3.connection.master.mshot=

ume.r3.matersystem=

Below parameters shows the value

ume.r3.connection.master.ashost= localhost

ume.r3.connection.master.client = 001 (but our client is 777)

please suggest what to do .

i am able to open the configtool. and Visul administrator shows the "autthontication did not succed " message.

Thanks & Regards,

Ravi

Ravindra,

your UME is connected to client 001 of your ABAP system runing o the same host

try to logon in client 001 with j2ee_admin. this would be the same password. if you don't know it, logon with SAP* ore someone else and reset it.

glad, it solved your problem.

but please open another thread for follow-up questions (not for the points, but for having a meaningful header/thread-title for the content)

anyway, here are some more answers:

authorizing the ADSUSER is described here:

insallation is ERP ECC 6.0 ABAP+JAVA on windows cluster.

i also able to open the web application server

but when click on User administrator , SAP NetWeaver Administrator it shows me the below message

com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.ExceptionInfo: JMS error.

When when trying to visual administrator connection at the time user authontication it gets fails.

kindly note we had changed the MSCS cluster after than we had made the changes in config tool for host name changes after java engine succefully started only we are facing the visaul administrator connection problem and error message as above

Same authontication problem when trying to connect adobe settings userng link

(http://:/AdobeDocumentServices/Config)

screen user name and password shows again and again.

we need visual administrator for ADS configration setting.

Please replay.

Thanks

Ravindra,

if you have changed your host name, probably the Java user Management Engine (UME) doesn't connect to the ABAP anymore and therefor can't authenticate you.

check in configtool your ume-parameters (com.sap.security.core.usermanagement, parameters start with ume.r3.connection.master, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/DE/84/10594aecd3e1408845e66c432b955e/frameset.htm)

ravindra,

what installation do you have? Is it a add-in installation? Does the Java-UME point to the ABAP? Can you log on with j2ee_admin o the Java-stack (http://<host>:<port>)?
