I am working on dev task where flat file is received containing data of both header and item data in each of the records.
Using XI and not BPM, I am trying to split each record of the flat file into Header and Item data and pass it to RFC.

How many RFC's you have?
its a simple 1:n multimapping scenario.
There is a blog on SDN which shows how to do it without BPM.
just search for "Multimapping without BPM"

Thats ok.
But I have around 10K records in a flat file. I have to split that file depending on the CostCenter and send it to R3 and ECC system.
