Hello friends,

I am trying to create stock using MB1C, However I am getting the following error. Period 007/2008 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999. Please help me in this regard.

Hi Vydehi,

This error is coming because that posting period is closed.

Do the following

Go to transaction OB52 and change the 'to period' to 05/2008 for your company variant.

It's would be better if you indicate 12/2010 (i.e. Dec 2010) so that you won't get this error very often.

hi,

Open the FI period through T-Code - OB52 or S_ALR_87003642. There you can open the period for your positing variant for account type S (G/L).
