re-init alv table

somebody knows how to reinitialize the alv table?

after binding new data, the sorting is still the same as before. i want to reset the sorting.

I just would like to reset the sort flag.

invalidating the context of the alv table and binding the data again, has not the effect of my wishes.

I am not sure whether there is any direct method for sorting of ALV. But the method SET_REFRESH_ON_DATA_CHANGE of interface IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_SETTINGS Looks relevant.

Pass the paramter as REFRESH_AND_APPLY_SERVICES.i think this parameter will apply the setting which are already set for ALV.

Just go thru the documentaion of this method. It may be helpful for you.

I tried it. But nothing changes.

I expected after implementing it, that the sort button of my alvtable is not active after binding new data. but it is.
