Changing width of ALV columns at runtime.

Hi experts,

I have an ALV having 12 columns. user wants to change the width of column by dragging with the mouse at runtime. How can we do this?

Well you can do exactly that thing without any effort on your part - only one catch - that functionality is NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1. That update is currently in Ramp-Up (http://service.sap.com/rampup) and will be released in Q4 2008.

You really can't do that before EnhP1 - there simply isn't anything in the Web Dynpro framework to support such a thing. The EnhP1 has a new version of the Unified Renderer that has Drag and Drop and AJAX based capabilities. Without these additions to the framework you would have no foundation to create such an interaction.
