Change MIC description

Hi,

How can we mass change of MIC description which has been assigned in 100 Plans

Hi Pankaj,

You just go to trx QS22. Change the inspection characteristic, it will create new version with changed text, at the time of save it will ask you to change replace the older version with the new recently created one. So just click ok. it will get saved.

Mandatory conditions:

1. The "Trigger Central Replacement of Master Inspection Charac." check box in the cutomization at plant level settings for QM (SPRO-> Quality Management>Basic Settings-->Maintain Settings at Client Level)

or

use the workbench trx CWBQM.

Or

Create new MIC in place of the existing one.

Run trx QS27. Replace the older one with the new one.

QS22 as told by others is also good option or the other option is use qs23 and change the MIC name without creating version. It ll update the Inspection plans.
