VA01 : how to block one field

Hi,

i want to force users to choose a specific Delivery block (field : VBAK-LIFSK) when they use Tcode : VA01 (for example : Bottleneck material).

Please advise

Either you can assign the control as suggested by the other friend or you can control for a material also by controlling for a specific sales area, so that for that particular material delivery cannot be created from the assigned sales area.

Hi Jehade,

As our friends said you can do so, if you still need more flexibility( like giving error messages making fields non ediatiable) pls ask the ABAPers to code in the include MV45AFZZ .

Hi,

In VOV8 there you can do deliver block that will copy into sales order header by default and no need of forcing users for this in VA01..

What ever the reason u put there in delveiry block but functionality of all reasons are same only. I dont think any difference will be there for each reason..

Other wise you can assign authorization objects to speicfied users for delivery block. So that it will be copied to delivery block and user will not be having any authorizatin to change delivery block... For this please take help from Basis team
