Number of tables in R/3 standalone application (FICO)

Problem: Sourcing data from R/3 (FICO) for creating an EDW (enterprise wide data warehouse)

Could some one advise on the number of tables that contains business related transactional data from which I need to source data for my EDW (for DW reporting).

Any other information on this will be of great help !!
