xMII 11.5 to 12 migration checklist

Hi

I seek forums help for getting a guide which would enlist

The possibilities/ development scenarios in 11.5 which are not possible in xMII 12 or things that can not be migrated from 11.5 to 12

This would help to decide which platform to choose for any scenario development

Amol,

Any content developed in 11.5 will migrate over to 12.x as 12.x is backwards compatible. As previously stated there is a migration tool for download on Service Market Place which will perform this task for you. The version of the migration tool depends on your version of MII, newer versions of the Migration tool does have some bug fixes in as well so I would recommend that you use the newest version possible. At help.sap.com there is a Migration Guide explaining how the Migration Tool works and there will be another guide out on the SDN soon which will help you prepare your 11.5 migration to 12.0.

Hi Amol,

You can migrate the things from 11.5 to 12.0.

You can use any of the tools SP01/02/03/04 for migrate xmii objects from 11.5 to 12.0.
