Please try the following two options:

1. When it finally allows you to connect to the repository, from Console check the repository for Errors and if found Any Kindly Repair them.

Upload the Repository with Update Indices.

2. If your repository does not show any errors, then you can archive your repository. Unarchive the repository with the different name on the same MDM server.

Check whether the new repository that you have created still shows the error.

I think testing both 1 & 2 option will surely help you out.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

This problem occurs when there is some problem with the database. I noticed that when my database server is stopped and if i try to mount the repository it will give the error- Repository is invalid.

Please follow the below steps:

1. Stop the MDM Server

2. Restart the database server

3. Start the MDM Server

4. Mount the repository with Update Indices.

Please update us...

i'm shut down PC and reload it

1.Load MDM Console

2.Mount Server

3.Login to repository - get error declared early!!!

then

1. Stop the MDM Server

3. Start the MDM Server

all WORK!!!

tnx all for yours ansvers

how i just configure MDM Server or Oracle Server so as not reload(stop/start) its time to time

Hi,

Even Ifaced similar problem on SP06 and unmounting-remounting-update indices solved the problem. Instead of "Load immediate" try "Update Indices".

This will hopefully not repeat the issue.
