New to Solution Manager

Hi All,

I am new to Solution manager, I want to use solution manger in an upgrade project.

Can some one guide me on how to go about creating projects, assigning road maps with the subsequent steps?

Please do not send me the standard SAP help link, I am going thru SAP help to get an overview of solution manager.

Hi Sriram,

One of the best places to start your understanding, in my view, is to go through the Upgrade Roadmap that comes predelivered with SolMan.

Though the use of Roadmap functionality is not mandatory and you may as well follow your own methodology, it would be great help where no specific alternatives exist.

Once you make up your mind (wheter to abide by Upgrade Roadmap of SAP, include in SolMan), the rest of the exercise - in terms of using various transactions in SolMan - Project Admin, Blueprint, Config, Testing, Reporting etc. are very similar to other normal projects and there are abundant literature and help available in this forum as well.
