Does anyone has a guide or the basics on how to create vendor root via PPOCV_BBP , I have been trying and am struggling .Please help

Hi

Step1:- type transaction PPOCV_BBP

You may get one pop up window

Creation of vendor Group (Root)

click

enter Object Abbrev : Business partner

Name :- New vendor Group.

save and come out.

Step 2:- go to PPOMV_BBP and double click your vendor org structure name and go to ATTRIBUTES tab page

Fill the mandatory attributes with values.

Accounting System for Alias

Company code

Current ITS for an external Partner

Local currency

System alias for vendor

and save.

It is very easy to create vendor org structure.

Thanks for your response and where do the Vendor groups fit in the picture ? it s when do we create them ?

Hi

It is a vendor repository.All vendors are Business partners in SRM.
