Hi Friends ,

what is role for basis consultant in an implementation project .........

i think so in project preparation ans blue print phases not involved ..

if not correct plz give me some suggestion on this issue ....

System sizing and installation are two big roles for the BASIS guy in an implementation.

1) Inputs on Sizing - Enabler role while using the Quick Sizer

2) Set up of SAP System (Installation) and post system installation activities

3) Creation of users, roles for Project team

4) Set up processes for monitoring and backup

5) Documentation of set processes

6) Define Authorization and User Management concept for Production system

7) Creation of roles during the implementation phase

😎 Manage testing of roles during Integration Test

9) System Readiness check for Production System

10) Implement recommendations by SAP after the Readiness check

These are high level activities Basis should carry out in an Implementation Project
