PS & QM Integaration

Hi Every body,

I have a scenario Ex. A Crops ia for the period of 3 months, with the 3 phases like planting, fertilization & Harvesting. Now i wanted to have a checking to from QM at every stage at ex.30th 60th & 90 days age of the plant.

Please help me.

Please activate the QM management in for the materials you are using and then you need to follow the steps of QM

hi uma mahesh,

if your maintaining crop plantation as a project nd want to test a same sample peice [plants] of your crop every 30days then you can proceed in this way;

1.Create tht plant as eqpt in PM IE01,

2.Create a WBS in ur proj and assign ur eqpt for tht WBS.

3.Now you can carry out ur testing process tht eqpt in PM .

4.Congif for testing in PM , create order type PM05 , assign 14 inspection type to ur order type.

5.Create characteriscs in CTO4.

6.Goto qs21and create MIC nd use the above charcteristics created in CTO4.

7.Goto ia05 nd enter ur eqpt no nd maintain tasklist nd inspection point 300 to be maintained in task list for eqpt.

8.in ip41 ur maintenance category would be inspection lot ,

enter ur eqpt no,tasklist,cycle as every30days. nd maintain start of cycle nd save the plan,got to ip10 nd click start nd this wil schedule ur plan.

9.This wil generate your inspection lot for every thirty days and you can do results recording in QE51N,nd usage decision in QA11.

Take the help of PM consultant...ther is do direct integration of PS nd QM...

Hi,

If u want to use PM - QM Functionlity then steps are as follows.

1. Create FL/EQ IL01,IE01

2. Create MIC as per your requiremnt with

the parameters,selectiosn,results etc. QS21

3. Create Task list IA01,IA05

4. Assign MIC to Task list IA02,IA06

5. Create Maint Plan IP41,IP42

6. Schedule Maint Plan IP10

7. Get Orders IW39, IW32

8. Inspections results recording QE17

9. Inspection lot Usage decison QA11

10 Maint Order Clsoe IW31,IW41

Hi,

For this type of scenario , we can create a maintanence plan with required interval like u have given . And we'll have to asign PM order ( inspection - PM05 ) . So an inspection lot will automatically be created when we will schedule the maintanance plan.

We can carry out the inspection process after creation of lot.
