Need source for Dynpro app - Have ear file without source included

Hi all,

We have an app developed offshore and want to make a change to the screen layout. We have the ear file, but there are no source files in the ear.

Is there a way to include the source in the ear file?

What is the best way for the offshore person to send us the source? The intention is to import a project into NWDS. So my guess is to ask for the NWDS project zipped up.

Hi Amy,

yes the best way is to import directly the web dynpro project into NWDS or, if you are using NWDI, ask for the DC sources and check them into your DTR.

The source files that are usually contained in the ear, on the other way, are the generated sources for the web dynpro and are are not the best nor the easiest place to do modifications (even if this is possible, when required)
