NWDI 70, Portal 60, ESS 100

Hello,

We have a unique situation. Our NWDI is 2004s 70, our Portal is 2004 60 and our ESS is 100 based on ECC 50 backend. I created a track using SAP_ESS 100 with the default dependencies of SAP-JEE 6.40, SAP_BUILDT 6.40, SAP_JTECHS 6.40 and SAPPCUI_GP 100. I placed the corresponding sca archives in the inbox, checked them in and imported them into development. For the SAP-JEE, SAP_BUILDT and SAP-JTECHS I do not see any DCs. And for the ESS all the DCs are broken ( I see 8 non broken for the PCUIGP).

My question is should I use the 2004 6.40 version of the scau2019s of the SAP-JEE, SAP_BUILDT and SAP-JTECHS since our portal is 2004 60 and our ESS is version 100. Or should I use the 2004s 70 version since our NWDI is on that level?

Thanks,

Bert

Hi,

Always use the version of the target runtime system where your SC gets deployed.

I was pretty sure that was the case. We got it to work by using the sca files that we took from the 60 portal instead of using the ones we downloaded from sap
