HI Gurus,
item number is not displaying in VBKD table though the item number is getting displaying in VBAP & VBEP.

Hi,
yes, it will not display item number in VBKD table. It only reperesents busniess data of the document like Payement terms, incoterms, ...which is different from item level data.
VBAP and VBEP are item level data and shcedule lines data per each item in sales order...

Hi,
In VBKD there will be default entry for item no (POSNR) equals "00000". This entry is for Header Business Data.
For entries with item no like "00010","00020" will only be generated when your order is having item bussiness data different from header. For e.g. at Sales Order header there is customer po no, it is also there at item level. Now if both customer po no are having different values then only there will be entry with Item no.

It is possible that the item number is not there in the selection screen
Just goto initial screen goto setting then gto format list and then goto choose field and select the field which you want to be displayed

Yes VBKD doesnt have Item level data
Saleorder Header level - VBAK
SaleOrder Item Level - VBAP
Billing Document Header level - VBRK
Billing Document Item Level - VBRP
