MDM business packages

Hi,

i want to create mdm systm in portal . for that what are business packages need to import in portal .plz reply

Hello Ratna,

For integration of EP-MDM, you have to be deployed mentioned file as follows:

1. BPMDMAPPLI04_1.SCA ---APPLICATION FILE

2. BPMDMTECHN04_1.SCA-----TECH FILE

3. MDMJAVAAPI04_1.SCA----MDM JAVA API FILE

YOU WILL FIND THESE FILE WITH THE DOWNLOADS OF THE MDM SERVER WHICH YOU ARE USING CURRENTLY.

these scar file must be compitable with your MDM version which you are using right now.

Note: above mentioned name of the scar files might be diffrent as per you MDM version.

Hi Ratna,

You need to deploy the 3 files:

BPMDMAPPLI06_2.sca (Inside Poral Content folder)

BPMDMTECHN06_2.sca (Inside Portal Content folder)

MDMJAVAAPI06_2.sca (Inside JAVA APIs folder)

After deploying the above SCAs you need to restart the Portal Server

Once you have restarted the portal server MDM System will be visible in the System Templates.

Hi Ratna,

To connect your MDM system to Portal you have to deploy the MDM Business Package to the portal server. You need to deploy the following 3 sca files to your server:

MDM Application file: Contains all the templates for iviews, pages etc.

MDM Technology file: Contains System templates

MDM Java API file: Contains Connector files

You can get the above mentioned 3 files from SAP Marketplace. Please make sure that all the 3 files are of exactly the same version as your MDM server version, otherwise the connection between MDM and EP wont be successful.

2. BPMDMTECHN04_1.SCA-----TECH FILE

3. MDMJAVAAPI04_1.SCA----MDM JAVA API FILE

The file names will vary with different MDM versions.

In Marketplace go to get the 3 files:

Support Packages and Patches -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP MDM -> SAP MDM 5.5 -> Portal Content

Support Packages and Patches -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP MDM -> SAP MDM 5.5 -> Java API

(both: Support Packages and Patches --> SAP NetWeaver --> SAP MDM --> SAP MDM 5.5 --> Portal Content)

MDM JAVA API 5.5 (sca file)

(Support Packages and Patches --> SAP NetWeaver --> SAP MDM --> SAP MDM 5.5 --> JAVA API)
