Why on earth do u need radio buttons on a smartform??? A radio button is used only when u want the user to select only one option from multiple ones. How will u ever require it in a smartform....

U can add the radiobutton in smartform
follow the steps.
go to text element (editor)-> change editor> insert->characters> SAP symbols--->choose the symbol for radio button
or use <698> in the change editor screen

you can try that declare the radiobutton in secelction screen
write the condition in driver program like.
if <radiobutton> = 'X'.
CALL FUNCTION <functionmodule from smartforms>
...
...
endif.

upto my knowledge.

Upload the images of radio button checked and unchecked. USe them while printing the form.
