System Copy of Netweaver 2004s SP13

Hi All,

We are planning to do an homogeneus system copy of our NW Portal to other machine.

- Netweaver 2004s SP13 (Usage types: AS Java, EP and EPC)

- Oracle 10g DB

I have read all guides under service.sap.com/systemcopy, but I have one doubt.

System copy guides are intended for the following service releases:

- SR2 -> equivalent to SP09

- SR3 -> equivalent to SP14

Our system is in SP13. ¿Should we use SR2 DVDs and copy guide?

¿Should we update the SP level to 14 and order DVDs for SR3?

Thanks and best regards,

Jorge Linares

HSC guide don't really change much depending on the SP level... if i was you just go for the "SR2 -> equivalent to SP09" but if you feel that it will be better to patch to SP14 and use the newest release then its ok too.

Hi Juan,

thanks for the reply.

If I use SR2 DVDs (SP09), the target system will be then SP09. Or the target system after the copy is i the same SP as source system?

I suppose I will have to apply sp-stack 13 (like in source system).

Thanks again,

Jorge
