Printing BAR CODE with number below

Hi folks,

I created a barcode with reference to C128A-system barcode. As per my requirement i need to print the actual barcode number right below the barcode.

My problem is i am able to print the barcode but not its number below it.

Please give your suggestions on how to solve this issue.

This was a option i tried but could there be any other possibility to make number appear with the bar code i created.? Because the barcode would be dynamic in this case.

Hi Shwetha,

I have understood your problem and here is the solution...

But this solution will work only under foll. condition:

If the place where Barcode is printed is fixed, lets say on

the header area...

Now create one window only for actual Barcode and

one window for only Barcode number.

Then place the Barcode number window overlapping on the Barcode window and adjust accordingly as required.

By some trial and error you will get the output what you are

looking for.

Hi thanks for your reply Fawaz

What exactly happens with this is when i placed it in seperate windows and tried overlapping it gave me the same output as when i passed the value under the barcode. That is what i intitially did is i passed the field name to conver it to barcode and i again passed same field just below it with out barcode format.

Your answer was useful and lemme know if any standard barcode format is available where it prints the number along with barcode.

Hi Swetha,

The main intension of using barcode is to hide the value....

The guess there is no other way to print the value below the barcode other than the option of writing it again without character formating

That was the requirement to print the number below the barcode. I know it is done to hide the number but cant help.

you can refer one script PSFC_STD_LAYOUT

here bar code is printing

u create one more text exactly below where bar code is printing and pass the same data without barcode option in format
