Hi
I am working with the Integration Builder tool. All seems to work correctly but when I tried to create or edit Message Mapping Objects, some of the buttons appear disabled (Data Flow Editor, Text Preview, Dependencies, Clear Mapping, etc).
I have tried with my own sceneries and also with the SAP Examples, in all cases those buttons appear disabled.
do I need to configure something else before?
am I doing something wrong ?
I'm working with:
Version
Service pack:13
Release: 645_VAL_REL

Hi,
Which java version are you running?
Java 1.4 will for sure solve your problem. If you have more than one version installed then either uninstall other versions or at least ensure in your java apllication runtime settings in control panel that v1.4 is used.

Thanks, effectively I had habilited different Java Runtime Versions. I disabled all those above 1.4 and the problem was solved.

Hi,
Try this also
choose Help->Information from the menu bar, there you find the Java Version which is used to the load your Integration Builder.
If the java version is higher than 1.4.x, then you have to use the correct version to load the Integration Builder.
A easy way (no need to uninstall any high version JREs) would be:
Start the Java Web Start of version 1.4.x and load your IB directly.
the Java Web Start is normally located at
C:Program FilesJavaj2re1.4.2_12javawsjavaws.exe
