Communication Channel: Adapter Engine is missing

Former Member

Hi,

when createing communication channels the selection box of the field "Adapter Engine" is empty. Usually there is "Integration Server" filled in.

Any ideas why this value isn't showing up? Did i miss some configuration in SLD, so that Integration Builder does not find the related Integration Server?

thanks/best regards,

MS

HI,

1. Re-import SAP BASIS SWCV 7.0 into Integration repository

2. Apply SAP Note 764176.

3.

OR

If it is empty in Communication Channel Monitoring then refresh Cache using the link below..it might work ..

http://xiserver:j2eeport/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

OR

Did you install the Adapter Engine Software component. It should be part of the XI installation. Just confirm that. It should have been a .sda file import using the SDM

Check these:

0) Go to RWB-->Cache Connectivity Test and check the status.. and run the refresh over there

1) execute SLDCHECK in XI box

2) Go to SXI_CACHE and refresh the cache also delete the Adapter metadata

3) Check the SAP BASIS SWCV is imported into IntegratioN Repository

4) Refersh the Adapter Metadata cache in SLD>Adminisration>Cache Overview ->Adapter Metadata Cache Refresh

this doc may help u :https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/08438c77-0501-0010-50a0-e39fe8fa0446

Run SLDCHECK and check whether your exchange profile parameter checks are successful

Thanks
