Time out error

Hi,

We have two user, they are unable to do confirm Goods/services, when they are clicking on the confirm goods/services they are getting a time out error message.

I have checked the Tcode PPOMA_BBP-> check tab->no errors.

Could you please suggest me what need to be look for this issue.

Hi,

You can set timeout parameters in SMICM, folder path Goto > Paramters >Change or Display, the paramter for network timeout is parameter icm/keep_alive_timeout.

Also see the foll notes;

Hi Imam,

If the problem is only for those two users, pls check report "BBP_CHECK_CONSISTENCY" in SE38.

For these two users pls check application "confirmation".

If the time out problem is common for all users, reset the time out parameter as Disha suggested.

I have checked Tcode ST22-> NO dumps exist with time out error.

Checked the SMICM->

icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.) = 60

Icm/conn_timeout (msec.) = 5000

icm/max_timeout_net (msec.) = 2000

icm/min_timeout_mpi (msec.) = 5000

Checked the report u201CBBP_CHECK_CONSISTENCY" -> consistency check ->user->the user has no workflow link. Please adjust workflow.

Checked the report u201CBBP_CHECK_CONSISTENCY" ->user attribute check for application: confirmation (All are information) ->

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute AN1

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute ANR

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute AUN

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute NET

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute PRO

u2022 Optional for the application "Confirmation": Maintain the attribute STR.

Could you please guide me further.

Does this happens to only these two users? Check for dumps in Trx ST22. Did you maintain number Range?
