Hi,
My client is into the business of transportation.
He provides transportation services to the customers.
Now i want to give a demo on the transportation module to him.
I have not worked on the same and want some details on how it will benifit a customer who is into
transportation business.
Can anybody provide me with any presentation on the same.
I have been on help site it gives the details on configs but doesnt explore the transportation module.
I want a detail information on the transportation module.

I have not worked on this but the following points may help to u
The General Business process of Transportation business is
1. Inquire
2.Qutation
3. Customer Pick up the Goods
( While picking he will tare the Docket which is like proof that Goods are picked it is have the 3 or 4 copy)
4. The Data entry will be done With the help of Docket
5. Goods will be dispatched from off
6. Goods will be delivery TO the Addressed Customer
7. Take the Acknowledgment from the Customer while making the delivery
8 Crate Billing to the customer with the help of Acknowledment Copy
This is very general bus process.
1.Here we can use POD Trace so we can update the Shipment movement to the Customer
2.Here also there is one time customer and Contract Customers
3.Payment for the service you may get from the BOOKING ( With Credit Or Advance payment ) Customer Or from The DELIVERED Customer or Payment with POD only like
