COMPARE & REFRESH (CCR / ZDELTA) ERROR SAPAPO/CIF171 "DIFFERS IN LOCATION"

I am an APO contractor working on PP/DS implementation focusing on CIF_CCR management. Currently got a CIF171 error "Differs in Location" related to APO generated Planned Orders (PlOrd).

Client is only planning at plant level, batch management is used quoting storage location (in ECC) but APO MRP / heuristics is NOT scoped to plan @ Storage location.

Does any APO guru have a solution to this issue? Client does not want to generate sub locations for the plant products.

The client is using project led demand where requirements are Proj demand, aswell as MTO demand also. Some pldord created against Proj Demand remain unchanged (although unfirmed) and new planned orders generated when running heuristic (top down).

OSS note 892634 for SNP planned order suggested, but the planned orders are PP/DS planned orders.

ANy asistance / recommendation is appreciated at this juncture as client goes live in 6weeks.

Hi Andrew,

We had a similar issue, and we had to maintain the storage location in the PPM. As far as i remember, the material in ECC had a storage location in the MRP views, which was copied to the planned order in ECC. However, the PPM did not have one, and SAPAPO/CCR was raising an inconsistency (CIF171) for the orders.
