Hi Experts,

Iam working on SAP Script, where i have the requirement to translate the standard text element of the Print program(English -> Chinese Traditional).

Iam able to this in my dev server thru my print prog-> goto-> translations.

How can i transport this translation to Quality server?Because in dev server it didnt ask for any transport request.

Points Assured for helpful answers.

Thanks,

Swami.

Hi All,

Its not a standard text, its a standard text element from standard program(TEXT-001).

In se63 it didnt ask for TR:

Thanks

sorry...

than create a transport request (workbench type) and add the following line:

R3TR PROG name_of_program

release and import (as usual), this will take all translations

this is a standard program? Is there no standard translation? The language is not implemented in your system?

Start transaction SE10 to create the transport request and double click on that, when it is created. here you can add new lines (just check an existing transport request, where there are objects in it). You can also ask for help from Basis people.

Hi Eric ,

This is a standard program only, when i went to maintain the translation in my quality server ,i got a message "Language not available on the server" what does it mean?

How can i proceed, please specify steps...

Thanks.

You have to discuss with Basis, to implement the language on the SAP server. If only one program is translated by you (even a standard program manually!!!), that does not make much sense, the whole SAP menu is not translated....

Hi,

MY target language is now installed and i have translated the text also.

And i have checked the changes in the target logon language.

Problem is..when it is taking from the print program...it always takes the EN version of the text element.

hi Swami,

texts created in SO10 can be included into a transport request by program RSTXTRAN

hope this helps
