Add a sever to an existing portal.

Hi, I am trying to add a portal server to an existing netweaver 2004s system, what option should i select when executing sapinst.

Hi

I am not sure that your subject line and message are same. But I conclude that you have existing EP landscape and you want to add the new server process with server_0.

Then you can try this:

Start the SAPu2018s u201CConfig Toolu201D

Identify the instance where you have to add Current Instance -> Select the Option u201CServeru201D -> u201CAddu201D

And if you want to install the EP server on existing NW system. then you have option to do that in

"Java Add-in for ABAP"

Thanks for the quick response, I want to add another phisical server to the portal NW04s SPS15. I am not sure what option to select when i run sapinst.

I am only running AS Java for netweaver.

My initial install was sap netweaversap systemsoracle--central system

If i want to install an additional cluster server to the portal , what option should i select?

Go for this option:

Run SAPinst --> and choose <Your SAP System> SAP Systems <Database> High-Availability

System Based on <technical stack> Dialog Instance

Refer the Installtion Guide for further options and checks.
