XI call web service

Is it possible for XI to call web service (ie, input and output parameter) with complex Java data type, eg, JavaBean( getter and setter method) AND ArrayList/Collection etc ?

Is it required coding?

Appreciate if can provide any related links.

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion.

I have created a Java-based web service in Netweaver Java Stack. Now, XI need to call this web service.

I'm wondering if XI can consume my web service which has JavaBean and ArrayList/Collection as request and response parameters.

Hi julius,

May I kindly request you to be more clear with the requirments.

If you are trying to call the Web Service from XI then I am doutful, coz XI is middelware so you need to call the Web service from SAP system or may be from anythird party system.

Even you can use the underlaying R/3 system to invoke the Webservice in XI.
