sap don't start

After the weekly shutdown of the system for the realization of the cold backup system does not boot. stay all dis + work with jobs and the aplication not start.

Have anybody any idea?

I know that this problem is resolve restarting, but wanted to know if there is an alternative solution to avoid having to reboot.

I was this problem,

The problem is that after offline backp the system up with some consistency. I stopped SAP and Oracle and restar the server.

The problem was solved.

I searched in traces, logs, OSS and SDN and there wasnt nothing because I restart it

Hi,

Fist check whether your listener is up or not then check the logs in usr/sap/sid/instance/work/

dev_disp,dev_w0 log files they could provide u usefull information,if possible post the logs.
