Hi,
I am trying to import SAPKB70012 by tp command:
tp r3i...
But I got the SYNTAX_ERROR during the import.
And I got the error 'status 0020 of the user interface SAPMSYST missing' when login by GUI.
What can I do now?
the tp command is still running...
Regards,
Randy

Hi,
The sap note is 88964 ...I think it is typo in your message (you gave it as 88694)
As I understand from the note or the error message is that the CAR file when uncared one file did not get extracted properly...something like this.
So I feel it is asking you to probably uncar again the support pack car file and replace files belong to this support pack with newly uncared files and then only try to import again...however I strongly suggest to raise a message with SAP.
As you have already waited for 24hours to import this SP if you uncar again and import it is going to take approxmately sametime....rather than taht try to get correct information from SAP and then go ahead.
Thanks.

Hi,
tp ended with return code 16 means that the transport tool aborted due to an internal error.
Please try to import the tp tool from market place with the latest version and then try to import the transport again.
May be this helps you.
Thanks

Hi, I got the following error after cleaned the tmp file and
run the tp command again:

I got the notes 88694, but I can not fullly understand it.
Solution
Please contact the SAP support.
The file unpacked incorrectly must be copied again from the CD. The name of
the incorrect file can be found in the corresponding log SAPH*.
The important thing is that the DDIC_IMPORT phase must NOT be
repeated before the file is written again.

For me, just waiting...

Dear
I agree on waiting but I would check for movement in the TMS log files though (on os level).
If you see these files are being updated you can be sure it is still processing things.
It can take some time before the next entry is written into the log file so don't panic immediately.
If you have enough time I would let it run for a couple of hours to see if any changes are visible.
It is still possible the tp command is not doing anything anymore despite the fact that it is running.
In that case you will not see any movement in the log files over a long period of time.
Kind regards
Tom
Hi,
SAPMSYST program is the initial program that is used while when we logon to the SAP from GUI.
To me it seems that may the program is getting modified in this Support pack.
Can you check the object list taht is getting modified in this support pack if this program is one among them then it may be getting modified in this pack.
SAP nOte 822379.
And also search for the Support pack number and read the included notes in this support pack to get some info about what is it doing in the supportpack...
And also some where in the Forum I read about this pack.
Search in the foroum you will sure to get some help.
And also below thread tell taht it takes more than 1 day to complete this ...
Thanks.
