I am getting an error:Cannot determine host.
when I am trying to deploy webservice
How to get rid of it?
Hi Gautam,
Plz do follow the below procedure:
Select the Window -> Preferences -> SAP J2EE Engine
If J2EE server is remote check the "SAP J2EE engine installed on remote host" and provide host and message server port. You can check the message server port here: drive:\usr\sap\<instance name>\JC<ID>\j2ee\cluster\instance.properties as "instance.ms.port" property.
If locally check the "SAP J2EE engine installed on local host". Click the "Browse" and select instance.
Be sure engine is started and running.
Regards,
Vinod.

hi gautam
this error typically occurs when you have upgraded your J2EE engine to a higher SP level then XI. Please be aware that the SP levels should always be in sync.
