hi
How many pricing procedures we wil configuring during implementation projects? why we need?
please reply any difference
regards
krishna
Dear krishna
Basically, four Pricing Procedures can be considered.
- Factory pricing Procedure
- Export Pricing Procedure
- Depot Pricing Procedure
- Stock Transfer Pricing Procedure
However, depending upon the process, in domestic scenario, if the process is going to be entirely different, then we can consider for additional pricing procedure.

Hi,
The direct answer for the above is that it should be as minimum as possible..for examaple consider a company which sells ONLY ONE product with same SP to all its clients and the DC is also ONE then then it can have only ONE Pricing procedure.
So it purely depends on the BUSINESS.
Points to remember:
u2022 Identify the objectives your pricing strategy might achieve.
u2022 Apply the correct terminology when developing a pricing strategy.
u2022 Choose options to establish different prices for different buyers.
u2022 Identify pricing strategies.
u2022 Sequence the steps of the pricing process.
u2022 Apply the appropriate steps of the pricing process

-->Credit memo pricing procedure
-->Debit memo pricing procedure
-->Quotation pricing procedure.

Dear krishna,
This depens on your business process.
But , try to club all condition types in one pricing procedure , this will enable you to have ease maintenance in future .
I can suggesst you to have one for domestic and another one for export .
Domestic can cover , direct sale , intercompany sale , stock transfer , deemed export ... etc
Export can cover : Physical export , SEZ .. etc

hai krishna,
it purely it depends on u r client's business process
we can have any number pricing procedures in SAP but as good consultant practises u should control the number of pricing procedures we use ...
for a scenario like u r client got operations in in 5 countries then u may be using different pricing procedures for different countries or one pricing procedure with different condition type and access sequence addressing the issue.
to conclude it purely depends on u r bsuiness scenarion and process
reward if it is helpful ***
