How to import new language??

Dear All,

We have ECC 6.0 system and running for one year with two languages English and German. Now I want to add one more language to the system so that user can log in using new language. Plz let me know the required steps to be taken care before adding language. I need information regarding effors that we need for this activity. If possible, plz share a project plan for the same.

Execute T-Code SMLT

copy the language package to the path usr\sap\trans\EPS\in

1logon the clinet 000

2run the report(se38) "rscpinst" add the language you want to install

3run t-code "smlt" click the "language" button to add the language(exp: Chinese) and the supplementation language(English)

4Now you can see the "Chinese" in smlt, click the button(Import package) on the right side of the word "Chinese". the button looks like a box with a arrow on it.

5 input the path of the language package then click the button "Find Package" finally click the button "Execute"

6 after you finish the import. you should change the Instance Profile "zcsa/installed_languages"

then restart the server.
