Hello,

we are getting following error while restoring the database

Hello. In Note 17163 - BRARCHIVE/BRBACKUP messages and codes -->

Explanation: The error messages of this command are displayed. In most cases they are messages from the cpio or mt commands.

The file to be backed up cannot be read. In most cases, this is due to hardware problems on the disk on which the file is stored.

Also the variant , try to update the BRTOOLS patch level...

i have tried 2,3 backup tapes and i update latest br tools

still i am facing the same problem

i have solved the issue after enble large file system while creating the logical volumes
